3. For puja outside the mandir contact our authority first before doing any pre-booking.

The unknown story of the appearance of Mother Shailaputri
On the night of Krishna Pratipada, Aghori Acharya Ranabrata had just gone to bed after chanting; suddenly he began to smell the strong smell of camphor, dhuno, and gavya ghrit in his bed! There was no one else in the room except him. The southern window was only slightly open. A gentle breeze was blowing outside with the drizzle of rain. Acharya felt a little cold. He pulled the light sheet kept beside him. Then, without realizing it, he had fallen under the sway of the goddess of sleep!
Then came that devine time – a mother figure adorned in a red saree with a golden lace border, came and sat by Acharyadev’s bed & said – Rana, do you recognize me? How much longer will you make me wait? I have been lying on the chest of Narmada for a thousand years; When will you come and take me to your house! Worship me daily! Don’t delay, my child, reestablish me. Call me “Shailaputri”.
Acharyadev’s sleep was broken. A thousand questions filled his mind! Narmada, a sacred river in Central India, is an ancient river with a long and traditional history. How many witnesses of history! If you add Narmada and Shipra, how far is the Mahakaleshwar temple of Ujjain? Where is Mother “Shailaputri”? How can I search for her? Who can I go to and tell? Who will believe me if I tell her?
My mobile rang in the early hours of the morning. It was 3:30 am. Who was calling me at this time? I quickly picked up the phone. On the other end of the phone, Acharyadev told me everything about his dreamland in one breath. He asked for my advice. As we were talking, the sun rose in the eastern sky, the light of the day. I said wait, my dear Maharaj, you will know what to do in the next 3 days.
It didn’t take three days. A day after the incident, a brethren of Rana called from Ujjain and told him about a mother stone found in the Narmada river. He did not hesitate to inform him about the unanimous decision of the devine power that the stone would be given to Acharya Ranabrata for daily worship.
Forgetting to eat, Acharya went to Ujjain and from there, in a private car, he brought mother “Shailaputri” to his residence in Kolkata for the ultimate sacrifice.
